I called my provider BCBS on two separate occasions to make sure I would not get billed for this. I was told I would not. When Comfort Care gave me their contract it showed what I would be billed. I was told I would not be billed and even put it in the contract. I just received a bill from Comfort Care for $1,040 today. I called and they said I should have looked closer at the contract. I had brain surgery and can hardly see. Really Great Company.

I had to cancel my services due to the fact that the two nurse's that came to my house had no supplies to provide the care for which they were hired to provide. I also feel like a full assessment was not completed during the admission process. One nurse promised to bring supplies the next day, and did not. The company sent out a different nurse the next day that had no clue as what she was supposed to be doing, and had to leave and come back due to not having any supplies. Upon returning she still did not have supplies. When she did provide the care I needed, she didn't do it right. I'm a nurse myself, so I know. I called the first nurse who came out and informed her of not receiving the supplies on Friday, and she said she would drop them off Saturday morning. That didn't happen. She dropped off four items, but did include everything needed to provide care for myself. My husband and co-workers have been helping me with my care. My husband performs the tasks better, and has no medical background. I talked to Jackie at the Foley office, informing her of my needing to cancel my services and told her the above reasons. All she had to say was, "Well ok!" I wouldn't use this home healthcare agency for care of your loved ones.

All of the nurses were excellent and always on time. I will definitely be using them again.
