My daughter went in for an ultrasound for abdominal pain. The doc told her she had appendicitis and to drive herself to Baptist East in Montgomery! Since she wasn't transferred from Elmore County, she sat in the waiting room for over an hour. If Elmore County had done the right thing and transferred her she would have had immediate care in Montgomery and wouldn't have been driving with the risk of her appendix bursting. This is a violation of EMTALA and Alabama Transfer Requirements. Do better!

My brother was approved on Friday and I signed all the paper work but when there was a problem with his meds and the nurse at the Nursing home called to see what happened they said it was a mistake he wasn't approved they had never heard of him and did not qualify. How can you qualify on Friday but not on Sunday. The young lady Friday was supper nice and said she was on the phone for two hours to get him approved so what happened? I will never trust them ever with a family member of mine.

The online services "medconnect" are never set up even if you give your email address. Always get a mystery bill in the mail from a company you never heard of and don't know why I can't pay my entire bill at the point of service. It's 2024 not 1984, I bet these folks charge a lot for this outdated system.

My son is a student in AL and went to see a Doctor who can prescribe his ADHD medication. He called to confirm the doctor he would be seeing can prescribe it, since that was the main reason he needs the appointment. They said yes, but when he came for his visit, the RN could not do that, but billed him for the appointment just short of $100. It is a lot of money for a student, especially that he still has to go somewhere else to get this done. and will be billed again. I have talked to the office, billing department, and who knows who else, I was transferred many times and spent hours trying to see if they could waive this portion of the bill for him (they got the money from the insurance), but it was just a waste of my time. No one called me back like they promised and no one returned my calls when I left numerous messages. I did pay my bill. It is just the NO RESPONSE from them AT ALL, what makes me really upset. This is bad customer service, when nobody get back with you. I wish the very first person would just tell me don't waste my breath. I hope (I will ask) my son never have to use their services again.

Ivy Creek was always available to assist us during an incredibly difficult time! I have dealt with other Home Health agencies from the Montgomery area, and Ivy Creek was far and above the best! I used Home Health, Palliative Care and Hospice. We loved everyone who came into our home! There is not another agency as caring and loving! My gratitude to them is immeasurable!
