I had to go to the ER and end up getting admitted. The ER DOC was great DOC Molly and all the others that attended to me in the ER was great. Then when I was brought to my room all the people I had interacted with were also great. Then the next day I meet with DOC Steve. Very friendly and spent the time to listen and give me my options. If I have to go to the hospital again I will for sure come back to this hospital. Small hospitals give great service as well. We need to support them because they are here to support us when we need them.

Always a good visit. Staff is always very nice. However my last visit the woman that did my IV and anything pertaining to it or taking my blood or removing the IV when I was done, she Never wore gloves. So far I'm not showing any signs of infection and had I been more aware I would've said something. Completely unprofessional. And she wasn't wearing a mask.

My landlord needed to go to the hospital because he couldn't breathe due to his congestive heart failure. He tried DCH, but ended up sitting in the ER for hours. I told him to come home and wait until early morning the next day to try again. He got up the next morning and went to Hale County Hospital instead. It was a far better choice. He was put in a room right away and even though they came in every two hours for something, he had his needs cared for and was well-fed. They actually made appointments for him and wrote out prescriptions. He was happier with their service than with any of the services he received from DCH in the past few years. The staff were kind and respectful. It made up for the robots that DCH hires and lack of compassion the nurses and doctors exhibit.
