I have had an extremely difficult time ordering a simple vital record. I have been trying for months. I have to wait on hold for very long periods (over an hour) to speak to someone in the vital records department. My attempts to communicate via email are equally frustrating. I sometimes wait days for a response, and the response frequently does not address my questions. I still have not received the certificate I requested back on 15 April 2025 over a month ago.

The amount of hoops you have to jump through to simply get a document is ridiculous. The workers are a bit presumptuous, but overall even-tempered throughout the ordeal. Otherwise I would leave 1 star. I understand they aren’t in charge of the protocols, but I can only hope this state will stop being so ridiculous over simple requests while neglecting larger issues in our state.

They let anyone run a business. The Budgetel has a license to operate and the place is filled with bugs and mold. Alabama standards are low
JRSC EVENT COORDINATOR
RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL STAFF. UNKNOWLEDGEABLE! HOW IS IT THAT HARD TO GET A COPY OF YOUR CHILD'S IMMUNIZATION RECORDS?? SERIOUSLY SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ON A FEDERAL LEVEL ABOUT THIS WHOLE OPERATION! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPATABLE!
