We are QUICK to write bad things so I had to stop and give my experience with this facility. It has been nothing but GREAT for my family member who has been there recovering from a stroke. He is able to walk with a walker now and I have nothing but amazing things to say about Ms. Rae Scott!! She has so many patients as a Case Manager and she made sure to call, follow-up, change plans, whatever we needed - she was there and was so pleasant. Everyone that we spoke to was accommodating and made sure to communicate and work with us. He has to transfer now to a long term care facility and I hope and pray that we will get the same care and dedication that was received from the rehabilitation team there at EAMC Lanier.

Came in about pains in my right shoulder down to lower stomach stay in waiting room for about 40 mins then get called to the back only yo sit another 45-1 hrs til I got up to go see why a nurse hadn't come in to see what was going on. One nurse at nurses station got an attitude while the other nurse decides she wants to finally take my blood pressure. Hen it was finally read it was in stage two hypertension 177/83. It's horrible when you come here and can't get help. Their not even that busy, they a Dr, a nurse practice 3 nurses.

My mom was hit very badly with an airbag in the passenger seat of the car. we went to emac as it was the closest ER. When admitted they made her do the paper work and sit waiting despite her clutching her chest and in immense pain. When finally getting to the room they didn’t help her into the bed and made her get up herself. No doctor or nurse came for nearly 20 minutes. when they took her for x rays and same deal. they didn’t help her off or onto the bed and also made her stand. alone. holding the back of a chair. asking her to move in different places when she can hardly stand. this place was horrible and absolutely didn’t do their job.

Twice in 2 years I have had to call for Medical Records for my sons. Both times I was responded to professionally, kindly, patiently, courteously and promptly. The Medical Records department is well run and I am so thankful for their helpfulness! Great job.

To be honest with you, I just rate 1 star because I can not say good things about them . I am not here to say bad negative about them . They are good hospital at basic services like they can treat people who are a simple sick. They are no longer do major surgeries and not doing maternity no more. If you want to do more than that then go to Opelika. They are good service in Opelika. Other thing is in Valley, They are doing best to treat and service at a simple services.
