I cannot say enough wonderful words about Aegis Hospice. Over the last 11 months, the Aegis team has walked our family through the toughest of seasons. The tenderness of every worker, the follow up and communication, and the post-estate specialist's care and assistance were all magnificent. It is obvious that those who work for Aegis are called to the job they do. I wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone in need of the services they provide.

Aegis Hospice provided care for my Dad for the last 2 months of his life. Their services and especially his main nurse, Graciela, felt like a safety net supporting him and us, his family, through all the ups and downs of Dad's death journey. Everyone was loving, gentle, honest, knowledgeable, helpful and available throughout the entire time. I could not have asked for better care and support during those difficult months. My family and I have had the experience with Aegis hospice care for our mom. We were all so thankful for the kind and loving care she received. Sharon Drake was mom’s CNA. Sharon knew just how to talk to mom and encourage her showers, mom could be difficult at times. Sharon spent time with mom, talking with her, getting to know her and her upbringing. They had a special bond. Shirley and Alli were her nurses for a couple years then Graciela and Florence took over. Hospice nurses are truly angels from heaven. All these nurses were mom’s friends and mom knew how much they cared about her. I never really understood Hospice Care, but when you experience what my family went through with them caring for mom, you will not be disappointed. We are blessed to have them. These nurses and CNA’s possess a very special ability and know what mom needed. Also they always communicated with the family. My mom also received PT and OT from Aegis, which helped mom with strength building. Mom lived a healthy 99 years. Kory and Teresa were great working with mom. I will miss everyone for sure.

During the hardest time of losing a loved one to Alzheimer's, Aegis stepped in and helped us through all the phases. From the initial intake with Sheila, to the hospice Nurse Ana, they were so compassionate in helping us. After my mother passed, the after care help we got from Debbi was extraordinary. Since this was all new to us we had no idea of the extent of help we would receive. From walking us through the steps for estate closing and notifying creditors, social security etc; it was such a huge relief to me to have help and guidance. The father who visited my Mom also reached out and spoke with me a number of times and offered spiritual guidance which was another blessing. So very appreciative of everyone at Aegis 💜

I can’t say enough about the excellent care my Dad received from Aegis Hospice. His nurses were attentive, compassionate, and kept us well-informed throughout the process. Even though he was only on hospice for a short time, they made him comfortable and brought a calming presence to our whole family. I especially appreciated the Chaplain’s calls, both before and after his passing—they were very meaningful. Alison from the Aftercare team was also wonderful, offering helpful suggestions and taking things off my plate during a difficult time. I would wholeheartedly recommend Aegis Hospice without hesitation.
