When you face the unexpected reality of having to care for your mom 24/7… after just moving from out of state, trying to work full time and provide for everything else….life gets hectic and emotional and exhausting real fast. My experience with Visiting Angels, has been just that….ANGELS! God sent this group to be absolute angels to us and care for my mom in such a way that family would giving us such a peace during the times we could be with her. From the detailed, personal intake; to the best selection of a caregiver, to the communication etc. It has been worth every penny and if faced with this in your own lives, I highly recommend!

The Visiting Angels team is amazing! In January of 2023, my mom fell and fractured her back. Visiting Angels came to the rescue and provided her the support she needed to remain in her home through the healing process and beyond. Many times in this process, we needed additional advice and help from the team and they were always right on top of things. They went above and beyond to provide help. Visiting Angels was a God send for my mom and me during her final days. After a bad experience with an “independent” home health care person, my husband called several home health care organizations. The conversation he had with Melissa, Care Manager, at Visiting Angels was a game changer. She came to my mom’s apartment and got to know her and her needs. She matched her caregivers with my mom’s personality. I knew when I left her in the hands of these caregivers, I had nothing to worry about. Not only did these wonderful people care lovingly and professionally for my mom, they brought me comfort as well. Melissa also helped me battle with the Long-Term Care Insurance company that my mom paid premiums to for over 20 years. The battle began in December when my mom was in need of 24-hour help. The insurance company made it extremely difficult for me to file a claim. Melissa continued to help me for 10 months after my mom passed to get the claim reimbursed. I was quite surprised at the support I received. I gladly paid Visiting Angels for services received. Melissa helped me battle the LTC insurance company to be reimbursed. Melissa spent many hours supporting me through this trying experience. I was grieving for my mom and was so frustrated by the unprofessional conduct and interaction with this insurance company. I can’t thank Melissa and the entire Visiting Angels care team enough for all the love and support provided to me and my sweet mama in her final weeks.

Trusting my most valued relationships with others & knowing I need help to care for them has been challenging. However, it has been a relief knowing the caregivers in this organization have under gone a FBI check in each US state before being hired. We met 10 women within 2 weeks & have been grateful for each of their contributions to my parents care as well as the responsiveness by the managers to us as we realize our needs. We’ve been pleased with how a sweet team of caregivers have been assembled that closely match our needs during the most difficult of times. I highly recommend Visiting Angels for families needing support with cherished family.
