Caregiver was super nice, but had major communication issues with assisted living staff that ultimately caused a sentinel incident that pushed the patient into worsening thier condition. When I reached out to speak with the VA liason for further assistance with communicating conditions to the VA primary care, she laughed it off like it was not her job. When I asked her if she was going to take any notes for the patient file, she said no. Unfortunately we had to terminate their services, they called over and over asking why which apparently wasn't obvious enough for them.

My father receives home care from Grace Home Health Care.His caregiver is Jessa, she provides exceptional service to my father. She is hands-on, helping with all aspects of his care. She is compassionate ,reliable, and has great communication skills, which is important because my father has hearing impairment. We have had experience with other agencies. Meyer has been Stephen’s caregiver for a year and a half. She has never missed a day and it’s wonderful to be able to depend on her. Besides the wonderful care she gave Steve she has been a great help to me or knowledge of information regarding my need to know and do things regarding my care Giving is endless. Again, I read her on a one to 10 basis, remains at 11. We love you and hope she will continue with us until no longer needed.

Every time she comes over, the first thing she says is good morning and ask what I need. She never complains and works very hard. And the company that backs her (Grace Home Health Care) doesn't just send her and abandon me. They actually call to check up on me too and see how my care is. Our family is very impressed with my father's caregiver, Amalia Manrique. She has been his caregiver for 4 years and is considered family. She makes our whole family feel comfortable to be around. She lightens up the room when she walks in with her funny and lively personality and is a good cook.
