I contribute my speedy recovery to Neil and Jessica, my physical therapists. I broke my hip and had surgery on July 5th. 6 weeks later I started walking without any aid. They pushed me to reach my goals. Don’t underestimate PT after surgery, it made a world of difference to me.

I had open heart surgery. When I got home I needed a home health care. I asked the person helping me at the hospital who she would send her family members too. She said Emblem. I called and they arranged for an occupational therapist and a physical therapist to come to my home. Both people were very professional. The occupational therapist helped me figure out how to get around my home and How to take stress off of my body by doing things a certain way., so I wouldn’t injure myself. She was very thorough. The physical therapist helped me slowly build my strength and endurance. Both therapist were patient, kind and helpful. I hope I never have to be in a situation where I need home health again, but if I do, I will call Emblem home health care. Thank you Judah, Jeannie and Shelby!!!!

Update: After asking for a different nurse we have been kept up to date and the correct bandages were used. We no long need the service but I wanted to update the review because they were fixing the issue. Prior: My moms care from Emblem this go around has be an awful experience. I made 2 calls to the office with no change. She now has a wound specialist because a small issue became a big issue. Still the nurse is making the issue worse. The Doctor says he changed the order, the nurses supervisor says the order was not changed. It really doesn't matter, if you are a nurse and your order says wrap both legs and the home says the doctor only wrapped one leg on the last visit, the logical move would be to confirm. I can get the doctors assistant on the phone so I would think the nurse could also. Had the nurse been contacting the family (me) the day before to give us a window for the visit as it states in the paperwork, I also could have confirmed the order had changed and given her the number for the assistant so she could get verification. Today I spoke with the nurses supervisor and asked for a new nurse and asked that she contact me before seeing mom they should be out for a visit tomorrow. I will gladly update this if the level of service improves,
