If I could give zero stars I would. The woman who answers the phone is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I called to see if staffing was available for one of our patients and the woman who answered asked “Are they using insurance or what?” I could also hear a man talking in the background. It was obvious she was in her car and had me on speakerphone. First impressions are everything. I’m not even sure this agency is legitimate because it didn’t sound like it. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Does NOT sound trustworthy.

My husband never got his supplies ordered for his ostomy. He Texted the nurse the companies that were covered by insurance and they still tried ordering from a different company, another excuse was that the fax never went through for the order and this last call was... here's a number you deal with it. It's almost comical and would be laughing if it wasn't that my husband needs these supplies. They've had about a month or so to get this right. What's going on with this company???? Seriously, if they don't want to WORK then tell us from the beginning to deal with it ourselves. In one month I'm sure we would have figured it out!!!!! Editing review due to the response...we were NEVER given any supplies from this company, that is a straight out LIE! The supplies my husband had were from the hospital and the hospital got us samples from different companies, after figuring things out ourselves and finally getting the supplies we didn't have a deductible. Bottom line was that for a MONTH we were given excuses as to why supplies weren't delivered/ordered etc...like I said before if we were told to figure it ourselves from the beginning there wouldn't be a bad review!

My wife (passed), my children and my sisters-in-law could not have been more pleased with Horizon Home Health of Phoenix. From my first conversation with the Arizona Administrator, Michelle, I knew we were in fantastic hands. Everything was done on time and as promised, and they treated us like family. I could not recommend an organization more highly even if I had a gun put to my head to do so!! Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts!! John Camp and Family

PT and OT were great. However, we had a concerning incident with our new RN. After she gave a informative exam (without wearing gloves), she mentioned that she was in a covid positive household before coming to our home. The patient in our home has extensive small cell lung cancer and had just finished a round of chemo, so they cannot be exposed to any Respiratory illness as they are immune compromised. When I called and talked to the administrator, she was very dismissive of my concerns. She first told me the RN had not even gone to the covid positive house. After I questioned that, she said that yes she was in the home but had not cared for them and had instead called paramedics to take them to the hospital. She did not believe that we were exposed to anything at all because the RN follows precautions. I told her that precautions are not fool proof. She asked what I would've rather had them done, and I told her I would rather them cancel. She also said that sometimes they don't know when someone is covid positive, but they obviously did in this situation. She said she was just trying to figure out my perspective because she did not understand how we could've been exposed. I know that secondary exposure is, of course, not as concerning as direct exposure. However, I was very concerned that she did not understand our perspective and did not believe that we should be upset. I asked them not to return.

Their MOTTO is they care about patient needs. This is only true when you can work around their schedule. My nurse was never available when I NEEDED a nurse. I terminated their services when they made a mistake on ordering medical supplies. They only ordered half of supplies needed to change my colostomy bag. The remaining supplies arrived an hour after my nurses visit and I was told she could not return. I NEEDED a nurse to change my bag 2-3 times a week. Out of the 3weeks of service 3x a week 1hr visits she replaced it once. Her visits consisted of vitals which I check my self. I am truly disappointed in what they consider, “Taking care of patients needs”.
