I can’t say enough how much we appreciate all of the staff at Thema. Especially our nurse Valerie and our CNA Allison. They were absolute angels. My mom was always happy to see them. Pastor Bill was so comforting when he came to visit. And Dan our social worker is always available and ready to help out whenever we need him. I would 100% recommend them from our experience the past few months. These people actually care about the people in hospice and it really shows through their work ethic and compassion. We feel blessed to have met and gotten to know each one of these special people.

Ursula Bond the Thema nurse and the others on the Hospice team were invaluable to me and my Mom. She had Stage IV Kidney Cancer that had spread to her lungs and liver. She survived for nearly two years and had Hospice care for over half that time. If we hadn't had the support, I do not think we would have made it through the long & hard process. I thank heaven every day that we had them to help us. 💕

They told us we had two weeks to find a new hospice as soon as the new hospice signed they immediately discharged him with no medication and with no supplies to change him or take care of him. We thought we were a team. We were with them for almost 6 months. The only way I got most antibiotics is from the night nurse instead of his nurse. The night nurses were amazing and so was the aid but beside that I would not recommend this hospice company.

I will keep this short because nobody really likes to read long reviews, but I would never recommend Thema Hospice. Here are my reasons. 1, High staff turnover with no explanation. 2, being removed from scheduled visits with no explanation, and then not showing up at all and no phone call letting me know. 3, phone calls are seldom returned, and if they are returned, they say they will address the issue but then never follow through. 4, items shipped we're 9 times out of 10 wrong. Wrong size briefs, baby wipes instead of adult wipes. Wrong size gloves. I ended up moving my mother on to, Hospice of the Valley, which came highly recommended. What a difference from day one. I hope this helps.
