This company allows their caregivers to become too involved with clients and allows excessive fraternization to occur with no consequences. I have seen this company allows a person who gets too personal with family members and even offer to have the client move into their home, and stir controversy between family members without any disciplinary actions. I would not recommend this caregiving service to anyone.

I think home health is a challenging field full of ongoing changes and challenges requiring a professional who understands how to manage and understand patient needs. Someone who understands what flexibility is and that it is vitally important to be able to shift and adapt to whatever the day may bring. Home Sweet Homecare does their best to fulfill these requirements and more with whatever tools they have available and they do it with a smile.

I would give ZERO stars if it was an option! My mother had a stroke and was released from rehab OVER A MONTH AGO - as of today 6/20/25 she has had NO THERAPY. I had to call last week and threaten to file a complaint w/ both the company and her insurance to get any action. Within 30 minutes of my call to them I heard from my mother that (by some miracle) the therapists that had NO availability were suddenly scheduled. Speech therapy CALLED her but never showed up to actually SEE HER. My mother openly stated she cannot swallow pills w/out applesauce) when she was asked if she had trouble swallowing (by the speech therapist on the phone) and yet the therapist has decided over the phone that speech therapy is now not needed? The occupational therapist that was scheduled to come out Wednesday 6/18/25 never showed up and never called. My mother called to try to follow up with Home Sweet Home but was told the therapist would be there tomorrow, However this will be a physical therapist coming what was scheduled for Wednesday was supposed to be OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY. As of now i do not have high hopes anyone will actually show up based on the experience and lack of care my mother has rcvd so far. A message left for Rose the office manager last week has still not had a return call. If they do not have the staff to handle the care for the patients they are taking on THEY SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS. I am currently waiting for a call from Rose (again) but honestly feel this company lacks the compassion and staff that is necessary for this line of work they are doing and the patients they are SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING. I am still planning to file my complaints but warning others they should maybe look elsewhere before proceeding w/ this company.
