Dependable should change their name to un dependable . There were so many instances where one of their employees would call out so often (Gabriella)and they did not have a substitute ready so my mother had to wait for someone to come from Mexico who didn't speak any English and didn't know the daily routine Also the in-home caretakers do not know how to properly care for an elderly frail person with dementia and heart failure. There was only one person. The turnover is high there and the caretakers lack common sense for instance one very young 20 yr old showing up 45 minutes late and instead of calling a family member to go and wait for her, she simply let my mom sit in bed in the early morning on a Sunday, because no one was available from Dependable . My mother called me frantic with anxiety in tears. But the worst was the complete lack of consciousness when a caretaker repeatedly showed up for work sick and ultimately my mom caught the flu from her and a cold that turned into pneumonia. She could have informed her supervisor to contact the Medical POA. Nevertheless the caretaker should have stayed home when she was sick. My mother died from pneumonia and it could have been easily prevented and treated had this caretaker reported her worsening condition and thought of the long term consequences of my frail 88 yr old mother becoming sick with the flu and a cold . Selfish, uneducated caretakers and a company that fails in the title of their business.

Im be honest and transparent. Almost 2 weeks ago I started hospice care with Dependable Hospice Care and tbh at 31 and suffering from chronic health issues that unfortunately made my heart failure reach level 5 a week piror it was a very scary experience because I still wasn't over my last 2 traumatic experiences and adding hospice care just made me feel uncomfortable because no matter what age you are hearing the words " We tried everything unfortunately hospice is your best choice " that broke me but I personally want to say thank you to Tara who was my very first nurse for just there home health and for making this transition easy. 1. Elizabeth who did my intake was caring , compassionate, understanding but she didn't make me feel pressured into doing anything. 2. Holland aka Holly aka My Lil Hollywood Star of a nurse is the most comprehensive, loving, caring and trustworthy person who i met she always text me through the day and on weekends making sure im ok and if I need extra visits or medical equipment. 3. Sarah super sweet understanding and will advocate for you no matter how crazy things get 4. The hospice doctor he is caring, understanding, loving person who will find solutions for you to make sure that you are comfortable and will treat you like he knows you forever. My 1 wish is to see the grand canyon before I pass away in a helicopter that's all I truly want to do. Im happy with my team and wouldn't trade them for anything else in the world..

We look forward to seeing her on the days when she does my vitals. She has taught my son so much about caring for me and my husband on the days when she’s not here. We missed her when she went on vacation. We love her. Erica in Nogales PS: she’s a awesome nurse too
