When a loved one is ill, you want the best when it comes to their care. Jewel City Home Health made all the difference! After suffering a massive stroke and a long hospital stay, my mother was discharged. Sadly, the stroke completely debilitated her. As you can imagine, taking care of an elderly parent who cannot do much on their own can be daunting. Fortunately, Jewel City Home Health made the transition from hospital care to home care manageable. Once mom was discharged from the hospital, Jewel City had a nurse go to my mother’s home to do an assessment of mom’s health and medical needs. The nurse was professional, compassionate, and showed genuine interest in mom’s wellbeing. The rest of the care providers such as the physical, occupational and speech therapists that were sent by Jewel City Home Health to work with my mother were wonderful! They were empathetic to mom’s limitations while motivating her along the way. But most of all, they treated her with care and dignity. Upon initial contact, I spoke to Rossana who is truly amazing! She went above and beyond to ensure all of my mother’s needs were met. In addition, she processed all the paperwork required to ensure everything would be covered an paid by mom’s insurance providers. I can’t express enough gratitude for her support and assistance during the whole process. Rossana has made a world of a difference! Caring for an elderly parent at home involves a multitude of aspects and can be overwhelming. My mother requires comprehensive care, but thanks to Jewel City Home Health, the load has been lighter. You will be in great hands when choosing to work with this company! We are forever grateful to Jewel City Home Health and the entire team for helping to care for mom at home.
