We worked with Avida when my MS worsened, and we needed more help. Working with Raul, Adrian and Vincenzo has been so comfortable. This is a local, family-owned business that is a total contrast to the huge companies that employ so many people that they cannot possibly keep track of how each individual is doing. In a word, Avida exemplifies care! At any point, when a caregiver was not exactly what we expected Raul and his staff would listen and respond by placing a new caregiver that we felt more comfortable working with. I was unexpectedly discharged from the hospital; we called Raul and by the time we arrived at home there was a qualified caregiver there to help my husband transition me home. I cannot say enough positives about their company!

I called on Avida for assistance as my husband's dementia progressed. The caregiving service that we received made it possible for him to remain in our home much longer than otherwise would have been the case. The caregivers were generally respectful and knowledgeable, and when there was an occasional challenge, Raul worked quickly and responsively to correct the situation. I would highly recommend Avida.

My mother had the best care we could find--Avida--from her 98th birthday to her death at 101 (and a half). The Avida staff were well trained professional care givers. They got to know Mom and very patiently and respectfully helped her and supported her desires to socialize and remain mobile. The relationships Mom developed with these caregivers was precious. Raul and the caregivers were always available to discuss family questions regarding her needs. Raul is immediately responsive to all/any issue, and he actually came himself a few times during Covid when there were no other caregivers available!
