I needed short-term home care support following hip and knee replacement surgery, and Happier Home Care filled that need perfectly. Upon release to my home from a skilled nursing/rehab facility, Happier Home Care had me set up with daily help from one of their staff by the next day. (I’m sure they would have had someone there the first day, but I had family with me that day, so there was no need.) From the start, HHC worked with me to allow a tapering off of services to the point where I am now—able to live independently with just minimal family support. Everyone at HHC, from the owner to supervisors to in-home care givers, were quickly responsive and always happy to assist. Should I ever find myself needing these services again in my future, I will be calling Happier Home Care. I will also be recommending Happier Home Care to others if anyone appears to need their services.

I am a very...I mean very.... particular person when it comes to the care and wellbeing of my family and loved ones. Why? Because I am a nurse and I have worked in this exact field before. I can say, without the shadow of a doubt, Happier Home Care has us for life. They are top notch. Our family member was a difficult case, without getting into details. We needed a caregiver 8-12 hours a day... immediately. Randy, Jessica, and Kiverly were all so accommodating and understanding. They worked to find the right caregivers for my family member in regards to the situation. Within a couple days we were set. Also, we had gotten the same caregiver most of the days, which was great to establish a trust. I had shared with the caregivers about my family member, and ways to approach the situations, and how to engage, etc. They listened and did those exact things. They really appreciated me sharing about my family member, so they can learn how to best care for them. The caregivers were absolutely incredible. I love that they focus on happiness. When people are in need of care, they are vulnerable. With this value of happiness, it shows compassion, and the care isn't just focused on tasks. It is also about connection. I appreciate this home care company. I would not go anywhere else.

When I finally decided it was time to use part time care for my husband who suffers from dementia, I was surprised at how difficult it is to find someone I could trust. I was happy when I renewed my acquaintance with Randy Harkin to find he is still in the home care business. He matched a perfect caregiver, who is licensed, bonded, insured and background checked, for my husband. I can leave him and not worry or feel guilty for taking some time for myself.
