Sumara or samara is very rude and hung up on me. I have dealt with a few people here there are some good people here. Some need therapy like me that's for sure. At times they act just like therapy friends. Can't keep composure and have authoritarian vibes.

I didn't like the attorney who was on my son case his name was Michael Yen he did nothing he wouldn't even appeal it I should of use this other attorney who works there, But Crystal was very helpful to me I wish she could of been an attorney that's why the 1 star. I will nvr use this place again also my other son lost his case as well. Your better off hiring a real law firm who dont charge you unless they win these ppl are awful. I wish legal aid did these cases still they was way better good blessings to you dealing with this place.

Be careful with this company. They are very corrupt there’s a gentleman his name is Al. He’s trying to give a bill to me when I never even saw him or met him and the law for Social Security should be a cap of $7200 if they do their appeal, they’re entitled to 30% but in my case, they never did my appeal And they are very corrupt. They’re trying to get the judge in my case to pay them two fees for one trial I’m going to report them to the insurance commissioner and the Bar My attorney, Carmela is corrupt too because she never fixed the problem. Plus she let them send a bill to Social Security with two fees on there so if you have any dealings with these people be very, very, very careful. They’re very corrupt people. I suggest get another attorney. Al is not even on their phone. List and he’s supposed to be the owner Supposedly, he did fraud and told the court that he worked so many hours on my case, I never even met the man I saw the man or even talk to the man Shame on these people

I applied thru my son's social worker from the hospital back in August 2024. Still no sign of NOTHING. they're very slow for no absolute reason. The sad part is they're gonna charge me 25% of my back pay! My advice is if you're trying to apply for SSI, DONT go thru HEALTH ADVOCATES DO IT YOUR SELF

After 7 years of living on the streets disabled. I finally got my day in court in San Diego where it saved me a few years less time because the courts are less busy than LA. The judge awarded me the disability that I needed. But when it came time for my lawyer to fight for my 7 years of back pay. The judge told him to take me in the hallway and explain to me how the system works. The lawyer says just take the disability your lucky he granted it to you. He could reverse his decision if you go back in and demand your back pay. $900.00 a month I received. Where in California do you live making $900.00 per month. Oh yeah back on the street. What did I lose by having this firm represent me. $84,000.00 of back pay. Thanks for helping me lose a chance for a real life. Instead its years later and the cost of not fighting the SYSTEM and allowing the system dictate your value to living a normal life proves that true justice in our courts fails the people who need the opportunity to have a chance to live without begging for your rights. I guess you get what you pay for. A low grade of professional help.
