I just changed my health plan and I am doing my research on the Urgent Care locations before I actually need it. This is the 9th one out of 23, so far this is the best rating of reviews. The other places only got a 2.0 star and very nasty review of staff. I am glad I read about the parking and will keep that in mind. I am very big on reviews, reading and writing them.

I am writing to formally document a serious issue regarding my medical paperwork handling and my treatment as a patient at Healthline Medical Group. I initially visited my primary care doctor to confirm why my medical leave paperwork had not been sent to my work provider. During that visit, I was informed that the office had no record of the paperwork, despite the fact that I had personally handed it to the front desk staff earlier. I returned to the office on another day with copies of all required documents. I gave them directly to the front desk employee, along with a sticky note containing my case number, fax number of my work provider, and a clear deadline of December 2, 2025. The employee accepted the documents, smiled, and assured me that everything would be sent and that I had nothing to worry about. I was never informed of any processing delay or timeline. Three days ago, my work provider contacted me and informed me that my Leave of Absence (LOA) was denied because they never received any documentation from my doctor’s office. Today, I returned to Healthline Medical Group and spoke with the office manager, Jennifer. During this conversation: 1. She stated she could not locate my paperwork. 2. She asked me to email copies of the documents, which I did immediately. 3. Only after this did she inform me that paperwork is processed and sent within 10 business days, information that was never communicated to me previously. Based on these facts, it appears that my documents were either lost or never sent, directly resulting in the denial of my LOA. When I asked to speak with her supervisor or another administrator, I was instead given a business card and then told that I needed to leave immediately. When I attempted to ask additional questions calmly, the manager became visibly upset and repeatedly threatened to call security. Shortly afterward, security was called and escorted me out of the lobby, even though I was not being disruptive and was simply trying to resolve an issue caused by the office. I was spoken to in a hostile and humiliating manner in front of other patients, which was deeply unprofessional. I strongly believe security was used to avoid accountability rather than to address any real safety concern. As a result of this experience: • My medical leave was denied • My paperwork was mishandled or lost • I was not informed of critical processing timelines • I was treated disrespectfully and removed from the office without justification I will be changing my primary care provider immediately. I also request that this incident be reviewed, including security footage, which should clearly show that I remained calm and respectful throughout the interaction. Patients should not be punished or removed from a medical office for asking legitimate questions about errors that directly impact their employment and well-being.

Called to ask if I could be seen as a cash-paying patient because they don’t accept Medi-Cal. The front desk refused to schedule me and claimed they ‘could be liable’ if I was treated. I wasn’t asking for insurance billing — just to pay out of pocket like any other urgent care allows. This is misinformation and extremely unprofessional. If you have Medi-Cal or might need self-pay services, be aware they will refuse treatment

At first I was skeptical. There was a lady, who looked like a "manager", she was very cold and off putting. Putting the receptionist and the other 2 ladies around the receptionist in a VERY uncomfortable disposition. I can only assume she was having a bad day. Never smiled or even said Hello. I wanted to leave she was so off putting. I hope she is better. I stayed and found the MA, Phlebotomist, The real office manager, and the DOCTOR were really nice.

I went there & they helped me with paperwork that I needed to fill out. Within 15 mins they called me to see the Dr. Dr was very nice & caring. Dr. Listen everything from me & check my body. Recommend the X-Rey & X-Rey person was nice too. There were lot if X-Rey’s, Dr. wanted to make sure the us no fracture. After the X-Rey done Dr. went through every X-Rey with me & explain. Prescribed me pain medication. I am happy with the services. They gave me braces to protect my knee & wrist. I have follow appointment again this week. 👍😊
