My 89 y.o. surrogate mother was hospitalized for 3 weeks at Providence St. Joseph's after falling down and breaking her hip, leg & arm. Before she was released, Jean, the rep from Prime Home Health visited and told her she would be needing 24/7 care "for a long time." There were no other options presented to her so she had to agree since she was wheelchair bound and needed help going to the bathroom, etc. The first caretaker, Vilma, was OK and did what she was supposed to do. But Prime Home Health has a practice of rotating their caregivers every 4 days and so Vilma was replaced by Rebecca who had a bad attitude and would not take directions, doing things her way. In fact, when my surrogate mother had to urinate in the middle of the night, she cried for help and Rebecca did not wake up so she had to crawl to the commode old but wet herself. Rebecca was then replaced by Virginia who was alright but then was replaced by Zita who did a worse job than Rebecca since she barely spoke English and therefore was difficult to communicate with.

We used this company back in Nov 2020. My grandma needed rehab and nursing. Nurses, always on time. Physical Therapist Supervisor was late for the evaluation over an hour. No call or text. When asked if she was still coming. Her response was it's Saturday traffics always bad. Next time she came out late again No apology. but her p/t she assigned was amazing...so we stayed. Then in October 2022 I thought wed try again hoping we'd get the awesome p/t again Colleen. Instead we got same Supervisor who was late again over an hour. No apology. Then she assigned a regular p/t that was scheduled to come out between 1-2 showed up at 330 and never apologized either. She continued to do this one time late because she said she had another client that was closer to her last than she thought. Then she persisted coming to see my grandma anyway. She was rude to 17 yr old daughter and made her uncomfortable by asking her questions she had no right to ask. I really had a hard time with this level of professionalism so I called Carl (the supposed owner). 2.5 weeks went by and I called him begging to please get someone new out to see my grandma. She needs therapy. He had done absolutely nothing but make excuses So what happens October 28th, My grandma fell and unfortunately she broke her knee and I will now be filing an action against this company as well as reporting to powers that be. Please consider a different service or do not use Beatrice or Kathleen both nice initially but the fact they have no reguard for your time is mind blowing.
