I moved to San Diego from Maryland about 4 years ago , after obtaining my California LVN license I immediately started working with Maxim Healthcare the office in Carlsbad. I really like working with this company, they are very on top of their work ethics and compliances.The staff in each department is amazing,No matter what Issues that arise they handle it professionally and in timely manner. You can call the office for supplies or name it someone will always get back to you or drop it off at client's Location to make sure we are not short of anything to do what we are suppose to do.They make sure we are up to date and we are trained for whatever case we take on. If there was a 6 stars I wouldn't hesitate for a second to give to Maxim healthcare in Carlsbad. ☆☆☆☆☆☆

Christina (RBT) and Jessica (BCBA) are the dream team and have done wonders for our baby boy. He was completely non verbal before he started services and has definitely blossomed into a social chatterbox. They were both loving and passionate about their jobs, we definitely miss having them provide therapy for our son. Thank you for the impact and care you two put into our son!

One of the WORST Nursing Agencies I have ever done business with. They have a major staffing/scheduling issue. They can't find nurses for the cases they already have, and they schedule the nurses they do have on multiple cases instead of consolidating nurses on cases making them have a perpetual shortage of available nurses. It's ridiculous that they have so much trouble finding nurses for their cases when nursing is one of the top career fields in San Diego. We went 5 months with no nurse last year because they "couldn't find anyone" and then we got some bottom of the barrel nurses that were terrible. The nurses they do staff are flakey, chronically late, and cause problems. One nurse was with us for three weeks, came in 15 minutes late almost daily, and brought illness in from her home which then infected myself and my medically fragile daughter. She then had the audacity to email the office she was concerned about the cleanliness and tidiness of my home (it's not filthy, but lived in) and the risk of infection to my daughter - uhhh, the only person getting my kid sick here is her. I think her real issue was the fact that we were battling a flea problem, and it skeeved her out but instead of being honest she felt the need to cause problems. The other nurse we had was flakey and always late or trying to switch days to work another case, and the only good nurse we had left and is moving out of state. The office staff will not have your back if conflict arises. The supervisory nurses are late for recertification meetings, don't bring supplies needed, or just straight up insult you. I wouldn't recommend Maxim if my life or my child's life depended on it. You're better off trying to find someone else on your own or through a different agency. Avoid Maxim Healthcare at all costs.
