Nurses are kind, friendly, and damn good at their jobs. Given all the issues and hurdles produced by the Doctor, it's impossible for me to comment on additional matters or services. I can say this: When a Home Health Agency continues to provide care despite not having a signed order for the extension (only a verbal), and never receiving one (meaning they weren't getting paid), that speaks volumes about their high integrity.

My experience with Home Health could hardly have been better. I am thrilled with the level of care I received. I nearly lost my foot in a car accident and I unknowingly had an infection in one of the suture lines. Thank goodness Home Health got called in to do my wound care. An infection in my foot was discovered by Susan, a Home Health Care Nurse, and she immediately called my surgeon to inform him of my state. I believe her field diagnosis and decisive action saved my foot. I'm a Worker's Comp case, and Home Health doesn't typically do seven-day-a-week health care, but my foot required it so the staff stepped up and showed up at my door every morning to help keep the infection from reaching the metal implants in my foot. I was told if the infection made it there I'd have to go back under the knife to get them removed, then out them back in at a later date. I certainly didn't want that. I was in a pretty helpless state, with a broken back and other injuries. Home Health called every morning to schedule a visit with me, they always checked my vitals, I was treated with compassion, and the nursing staff was very considerate of my home, my family and my emotional state. Anthony, Liz, Gina and especially Susan made a point to get the orders from my doctor for wound care and were extremely well coordinated with all four of my surgeons. I don't understand how this company could get a negative review. Any negative experience I've had so far in my recovery never came from Home Health. In short, I can't recommend this company enough. They're skilled, compassionate and they work hard to help. They really are life savers.
