Worst home health agency in San Diego! I do not recommend! I've been a caregiver for over 23 years and I know there are a lot of bad home health agencies out there but they are the worst! I've never had to personally deal with one only for my clients but recently I went to the hospital with severe diverticulitis colitis and perforations they sent me home with this company because I had a PICC line in my arm and I needed them to be there to help me for 2 weeks I saw them the first day they showed me how to administer the antibiotics myself. A few days later I called them because I was really worried about my bowels I called at 5pm they returned my phone call at 150 am saying they just got the call. Well I called the on call nurse you would think that she would have her phone near her because she's on call for a nursing agency I'm sure there's patients that need a response right away. So I just went to the ER. A couple days later I had a problem pushing the antibiotics through and once again they couldn't come by because they had 5 other patients before me and it was important that I administer them so I went to the ER again oh and no one ever called to follow up and see how I was doing I got a text message from the on call nurse hours later I told her I'm going to the ER and she said that's good. They never came to change the bandage in 6 days so I had the ER change it. The nurse finally came 7 days later to change the extension line and she didn't know how to do it so we just ended up leaving the old one in the last thing they were supposed to do was remove the PICC line and if course they did not answer my call I started calling them at 9 am on Sunday to see what time they were coming they never called me back so once again I went to the ER to have them remove the line. I was gonna do that anyways because I didn't trust someone who didn't know how to change the little line to remove the big line. They finally called me Monday at 330 pm but the only reason they called me was to tell me that the nurse couldn't make it because she had family problems I only had them for two weeks and the nurse cancelled on me twice with family problems they are very unprofessional and lack in compassion and care of patients do not use them.

Wont bring us supplies in a timely manner risking someones life. After 14 days my grandfather was discharge from the hospital with a pleurex catheter that drains fluid from around his lungs. This must be done every 2-3 days. We were assigned Absalem as his home health agency so they can bring us needed supplies. They've only been to our house twice in 3 weeks and brought us only 2 drain bottles that didn't even work, which is suspicious because the bottles we get directly from the hospital do work correctly. It's been 3 weeks now. The nurse even admitted to my face the one time he was here that "you got the bad company." The women who takes phone calls seemed offended and was rude when I explained how the 2 bottles they sent didn't work despite the other ones working, like it comes from her pocket. It rude you're risking my grandfathers life. No one ever calls back either. I hope they aren't giving us expired supplies and selling the new ones. Update: The nurse is at least corresponding and brings supplies in a timely manner at this point. He is nice.
