Kingsley and Jennifer helped me rehab from a broken shoulder and regain arm and hand mobility. I could tell both were seasoned therapist with superior knowledge and tecniques. Both have great authentic caring attitudes and Jennifer went above and beyond to assist me to obtain proper therapy equipment, which made the difference in my recovery.

My 89 year old mother had a major surgery and when she got home from the hospital she needed home care from Kaiser. Eden Health care contract with Kaiser. Everyone they sent out were and are fantastic and know their job. Chris is the nurse that takes care of my mom and he is fantastic with her. When my mom first got home from the hospital she fell and cut her leg up bad. Chris also attends to her womb and he is great at it. The womb clinic even acknowledge that Chris is doing a great job on taking care of her leg womb. I highly recommend Eden Health Care for anyone who needs home care. All staff are great at their jobs.

Kaiser assigned Eden Health/Home Health to me for physical therapy after my hip replacement surgery. At one point I tried contacting Eden during to confirm upcoming appointments and reached the answering service: answering service assured me someone from Eden would call me back, but no one ever did. I thought that was a little unprofessional but decided to let it go. By the 2nd week of working with Eden Home Health, the physical therapist(s) started missing scheduled appointments and failed to communicate or respond to my messages. I called the phone number Eden provided to "call us at any time to speak to a representative who will help find a solution" and am still in disbelief at how rude and unprofessional they were. The first person I spoke to was Sam, and she was instantly rude and defensive when I expressed I was frustrated. Furthermore, Sam made it clear she did not care about my frustration or patient needs and that Eden was not concerned about me as their client/patient. Sam's manner of speaking to me was unprofessional and condescending, as she continually responded "our schedules are always tentative" and "we have no way of knowing when we can show up" and "our physical therapists don't have to show up when they say they're going to," etc. I grew increasingly frustrated at Sam's rudeness and unprofessionalism and asked if Eden has any accountability to their patients at all, and her response was "no they are not accountable because schedules are always tentative and physical therapists do not have to show up when they say they're going to." Sam then said I would need to speak to the director and transfered me to a woman named Ashley James, who did not answer. I noticed someone from Eden tired to call me back so I called once again, and the director, Ashley James, answered. Unfortunately, the situation went from bad to worse due to Ashley James' arrogant, unprofessional, and aggressive approach: Ms. James instantly berated me for being frustrated, then moved on to threatening me and laughing at me for trying to defend myself. Ms. Ashley James, the director of Eden's office in Sacramento, continued to make fun of me and laugh at me when I said I was documenting my concerns and contacting Kaiser (my HMO.) She continually threatened me with "We will discharge you from our services!" then hung up on me like an angry child. Ms. James was unprofessional and completely unconcerned about me as a patient/client, and she behaved like an aggressive, self absorbed, mean spirited teenager. Ms. James is a bully and not suitable for a job that requires professionalism, common decency, common courtesy, compassion, or civility. At this point, I am more concerned about patients of Eden who cannot advocate for themselves and are not getting the care they need: who is going to stand up for them? Shame on you Eden Home Health for employing someone like Ashley James, whose blatant disregard for others, especially patients needing care, is abhorrent and unconscionable.
