It can be confusing to find since there are multiple IHSS offices in the building. All are meant for different sections of IHSS. Otherwise, it just depends on the line there.

This is the worst place to have a caregiver . The caregivers all don’t show up to work and get paid thousands of dollars and just commit fraud. They need to start tracking their workers and gpsing them to make sure they actually show up…. Carl is a social worker and he should be in jail for not keeping track of his workers…

why do ALL the other counties have a link to their website EXCEPT Ventura County??? Also, since covid, they are NOT doing in-home worker visits, and do everything over the phone. Sometimes not everything can be done accurately over the telephone. I don't know who my worker is, how to change providers, how to modify my authorized services, NOTHING. Service is extremely POOR here in Ventura County.

My complaint with Public Authority is with their contracted worker Mrs. Gloria Treviso. I had a tenant in my home that hired Mrs. Treviso to work for her through a branch of Behavioral Health. The interaction between me and Mrs. Treviso was very confrontational from the beginning and from what I could see of her interaction with my tenant it was always very hurried and incomplete. Mrs. Treviso also voiced her complaints that she was only taking this job as a favor for a"friend' at a branch of Behavioral Health and we were both lucky that she even took the job. She even had her husband come to see her client in my home and I was not notified of this in any way because if I had been told I would have told Mrsm Treviso to have her husband leave whenever he had to give to her client outside. As I don't normally let random men in my home that I do not know. So in short Mrs Treviso was very unprofessional and confrontational with me as a homeowner that had a tenant looking for a health aide and I would never recommend her services to anyone else.
