The most unfriendly medical environment I have ever been in. You walk off the elevator with no real direction of where you should go. Look ahead to 4-5 employees behind the desk all with heads down. All hoping not to catch your attention and have to help you. When I did get called up by the only male working he seemed to be so miserable and it showed in his actions and lack of friendliness. Very bad experience...............

Pro: Excellent doctors and staffs. Plenty of parking spaces. Con: This medical complex has many buildings. I picked the wrong one and walked 20 minutes last time. Fix: Google Maps please shorten this building's name to MemorialCare Fountain Valley Health & Wellness Center. Thanks.

As a physician, I wanted to especially leave a review for this hospital because all hospitals are not the same. Immediately on entering the hospital, there are friendly staff members. Who are all asking if they may help you. The hospital also smells nice. It does not smell like a regular hospital, which usually smells like farts. They also have several high tech enabled robots to ease the care of the patients and the workload of the nurses. I have not seen these before. There was a but to keep the floors and surfaces, clean with ultraviolet light, a video camera observing robot that could watch people all the time and report any abnormal behavior, and a lifting robot to help nurses lift patients out of their beds and avoid straining their backs. Both of my children were born at Memorial care hospitals, and I would recommend them to anyone. We have also gone there for both my wife and my parents care and we’re satisfied with that at the emergency room and also at the longer-term care facilities. But what most strikes me is the friendliness, humanity, concern, and compassion of the staff . Our families go to hospital!

This post is not about the professionals working at this location - they are great, but the infrastructure, and it is horrible. I came for bloodwork and ended up spending an hour there. The parking structure was filled, not a single empty spot. The parking lot in front of the building is a total chaos. It’s narrow, a big portion of it is taken by the valet spots, and the cars going in any direction disregarding the lanes in search for an empty spot. Add deliver trucks that block the narrow lanes. Getting to park there feels like a quest, and you either become aggressive and win or lose patience and go to another place. But anyways the experience is absolutely horrible.

The Memorial Care Medical Group office staff was very helpful and friendly. Although the wait was super long, which made me feel I'd never be visiting them again, Dr. Wyckoff turned that around for me. I had a gynecologist visit with Dr. Wyckoff. She was awesome! She was apologetic for the wait, both before and after my visit, but it was her personable, friendly and non-pushy mannerisms that made me happy. She felt more like family and less like a doctor. She's the kind of doctor I wish I had had for the last couple of decades. So even though I waited a while before seeing her, she was WORTH it! I'm so grateful to have found her. Her nurse was also super friendly, kind and helpful too. She helped me with my MyChart problem. All doctor offices USE to operate like this. Now it's a rarity to find such professionalism nowadays. I'm so happy I have though.
