She treated him not just as a patient, but as someone she truly cared for—offering comfort, encouragement, and dignity every step of the way. Her dedication extended beyond her professional duties; she visited him both at home and in the hospital, and she honored his memory by attending his services. Ericka P. has been my sister’s home health nurse for a few months now. I have nothing but good things to say about her because she does such an awesome job. She takes her work very seriously and makes sure she follows the appropriate protocols and guidelines. Not only does she monitor how my sister is doing, she educates with regard to her particular health concerns. She is quick to answer questions and offer help. If my sister’s progress at times seems slower than it should be, she is always very encouraging as she reminds my sister of the things she should or should not be doing on her road to better health. Ericka is always very responsive when we contact her. She has been a huge help. We appreciate Ericka so much for the care and attention she has given to my sister, Janice. I feel compelled to write this review about National Home Health Services (2880 Zanker Rd, SJ) because of the outstanding care we received. My brother was discharged from the hospital to assisted living after receiving a pace maker, heart valve replacement and many other health concerns, including leg wounds and cognitive issues. Our family was overwhelmed with managing his care and recovery. Home Health Services was a life saver! I would especially like to thank Eric the RN who was assigned to our case. I can without a doubt say the reason my brother has made an amazing recovery is because of Eric and his exceptional care. Eric developed and implemented a plan towards my brothers recovery. He provided excellent wound care, prescription meds management and had a commitment to my brothers success. He communicated with us and encouraged my brothers self-progress. My brother’s recovery has been remarkable due to Eric and his teams efforts, including Kathryn (physical therapy), Charu (Occupational therapy) and Cyndi (HHA). We are very grateful to have had Home Health Services with us on this journey and would highly recommend their services.

Very unprofesional, last Physical Therapist, typing her work notes while attempting PT! often lasting less than 30 min. ST was great and only reason i give 2 stars, but unfortunately he did not submit a report that he was suppossed to complete for an augmentative device for my brother and now we have to start process all over again, of course they billed for it. Occupational therapy had no clue and said she didnt want to "touch my brother because his arm was too ridgid" what? First time i heard that.. we were in shock that she didnt know what to do, no sure how she is an OT, honestly. Nurses were ok but you have to ask them what to check otherwise they just rush. Discharge was last minute and they tried to change the date that I was informed. God is good, Now he has a Great home health agency that informed me not to sign if they dont stay the entire time they are paid to provide a service or they should reschedule.

National Home Health came out to see my mother, who is not the easiest patient to deal with. The nurse was able to get my mom to start taking her blood pressure and weight daily even though the doctor and I had asked her to do it many times. The PT worked with her to improve her strength and to make sure she was safe in her home. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
