I have been to House Psychiatric for for a little over five years. Initially, I was seeing Dr. Sue. She was absolutely fantastic, genuinely cares for her patients and their needs. Due to switching jobs, I was switched to Dr. Lana Williams. I can easily say she is one of the worse, most uncaring physician's I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The very nature of my developmental disorder means I am forgetful, particularly without my medication. When I would miss a telehealth appointment, Dr. Sue would give me a call or a text to inform me that it was my appointment time. So long as I made it within that 15 minute window, I would have my appointment. Refilling my medication for the same prescription takes approximately 3 minutes. The appointments are scheduled in 15 minute windows. Dr. Williams seems to essentially hope people miss their appointments so she can eagerly charge you 100$ flat. What makes this more ridiculous is she has cancelled 3 appointments on me in the last 12 months. 1 of which, 09/04/25, I had requested the day off of work for. She rescheduled that one to 09/05/25, which is the appointment I was late for. I could not get another day off of work, so I logged into the telehealth as soon as I was able. She declined to see me and then prevent the staff at house from scheduling me with any provider until she was paid her $100 missed appointment fee. So yes, to some of you, im sure this just reads as "Just be on time for your appointment." If that is how you feel, I understand and that a valid point. My point is, every interaction with Dr. Williams and the way she does business shows that she simply does not care about her patients. It is an entire world of difference from Sue. I barely make it as it is, I took a day off work due to her rescheduling, and then had my prescription held hostage for a 100$ missed appointment fee. I don't get paid until the following Wednesday and asked if I can at least pay it during a follow up visit. Nope. This experience has been so terrible it is prompting me to find a new psychiatrist in general. So, to end this off, the take away is, this establishment is fantastic if you get Dr. Sue. If you get Dr. Williams, I would HIGHLY suggest going elsewhere.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Williams for about 5 years now. My experience has been wonderful. Dr. Williams went above and beyond to help me find medication that worked for me when I was experiencing bad side effects during my trials. She is very caring and kind. The staff has always been helpful. Cherie and Mary are great.

We have been seen by Sue for about 6 months and she's phenomenal! Mary runs the office and she wonderful! Mary always kept us up to date about anything that needed to be done to get us in to see a provider as soon as possible. I've ran into a few minor issues and she has always immediately taken care of them! I appreciate her willingness to provide a solution immediately and to have a friendly disposition. Being employed in the medical industry I know it is a rare find to have the combination of a provider and their staff be so efficient and work so hard for clients! Very happy to find them and highly recommend this clinic. Thank you Sue and Mary!

While the other reviews may steer most away, I have to say my experience with House Psychiatric has been wonderful. There have been some hiccups in scheduling/communications at times with their office hours, but we're all human. At first I was seeing Dr. Stacy Manning, who is wonderful, but she is no longer with the practice. After trying to find another provider and having a terrible experience with another clinic, I came back to House Psychiatric and was placed with Dr. Sue Howard-Harrington. Sue is absolutely wonderful, understanding, and kind. She completely put my mind at ease and saved me when Dr. Manning was abruptly no longer with the practice. Vanessa and Mary in the front office have been equally great to work with.

I've been going to the House Clinic for almost a year now. I don't write many reviews but I think this place is worth it. Everyone I've interacted with here has been helpful and kind. The office staff are very competent and go the extra mile to help me if I need something or to reschedule an appointment (esp. Mary, she's awesome!!) I can also say that Joanie is amazing. Therapy is hard work but it's worth it. I've just started seeing Joann as well and she is on top of things. If you want to improve your mental health this is a good place to do it.
