My mother recently had surgery which required at home care. Through her insurance she was provided ERG home health as the at home nursing care. When the nurses came they were amazing. That being said, communication with the organization is difficult. Just this Friday someone was supposed to come and never did. No phone call or anything to warn us. We called them and again no phone call, two days later. It is now 9PM and my mother has need of an on call nurse, which isn’t happening. I’ve called and left a message, the hospital called and left a message. Night and day difference compared to Torrance IPA which my grandmother has, with a phone number manned 24 hrs a day; and she’s on Medicare! So now she’s headed to the ER because of something that would not have happened had they actually shown up.
