The outside of the facility and grounds are very nice and equally nice inside. Rooms are large and clean even though you share. The dining/activities room is really nice always using tablecloths nice touch. Carmen is the activities director and does a fabulous job engaging the patients. She also shows compassion and kindness and engages patients in conversation. My husband was a patient for about one month. Recuperating from pneumonia. My husband was also displaying at times difficult behavior. I can't say enough about the staff, the PT department that worked personally with him taking good care of him even under duress. As he is also a stroke patient he needs two helpers to work with him and when everyone was very busy the staff would still come and help out each other so his needs were met.

We loved everything. Very clean, friendly, helpful. The therapy was terrific, even when my aunt complained they were very sweet and kind. Carmen and Adolfo are amazing at keeping the clients busy. I never saw two guys of the patients laugh so hard till they were playing ball on the table. They do a great job planning so many activities. The staff and nurses are very helpful, competent and kind. I hope we don't need to come back, but if we do we know we will be very wonderfully taken care of. Thank you all!!!

My mom came here for rehab following her hip replacement. Rey and his entire staff were welcoming and attentive. The improvement in my mom’s mobility and stamina from her first arriving until safe discharge was amazing! The PT and OT care team under the direction of Ana Rosa did a wonderful job. The Activities vocals (Carmen and Adolf) lead numerous fun activities to keep the rehab residents engaged. The entire Gardens staff have a real passion for helping people and for that, we are very grateful!

My mom came to The Gardens to rehab from a hip replacement. Our family checked out a couple places and settled on The Gardens. It turned out to be the right choice. Everyone here couldn’t have been better. From the administration to the CNA’s everyone was great. She received physical and occupational therapy 4 or 5 days of the week. They had great activities for the residents everyday. From bingo to movie nights they had it all. Carmen and Adolfo were the heads of the activities and you could tell they really had a passion for working with the residents. If you’re trying to find a residential rehab for a loved one, give The Gardens at Northridge a look.

The therapy was very good they helped me with my leg strength in order to be able to walk again after being in a wheelchair. Carmen in activities always welcomed me for bingo and made the stay here fun. The food was good but looking forward to home cooked food. The nursing staff were very warm and understanding and if i needed help they always were able to help me. I would definitely recommend the Gardens Healthcare skilled nursing to anyone that wants to return home after injury or illness
