My Mother entered Hospice care on 04/01/22. She passed on 12/07/2023. I had multiple issues with the care they provided. She was suppose to receive 2 visits per week, which she didn't. Medicare was billed for visits that did not occur. Most of the time the visits were less than 5 - 10 minutes. Her blood pressure was checked but no other physical assessments were made. I had to bring several issues to their attention. They did bring a wound care RN in to treat my Mom's leg wounds. Whenever I spoke with Alex he had very weak excuses why certain care was not provided. Her medications and supplies were not on time. I frequently asked for updates on her progress which were promised but did not happen. When it was evident that she was close to death again no communication or support. I never received a phone call after her death which surprised me. I would not recommend this agency.

If we could give this company a negative zero star, we would do so. This is not a good hospice to choose when putting your loved ones on their last days. We encountered so many incidents with this hospice. This day was one of them: A patient passed in our facility today and this company was extremely difficult to get in touch with. Finally, after roughly TWO HOURS of trying to reach out to them, someone finally answered our call. They sent a nurse to our facility. This nurse did not even check the patient. She said she's never seen the patient before and just left. We contacted the main office for clarification regarding the patient care at time of death but their hospice manager said that our facility has a contract with them onto which mortuary to send the body. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN AGREEMENT LIKE THIS! (Even the Sheriff agrees with this matter!) It is supposed to be the hospice's responsibity from assumption of care, up to post mortem; including notifying the family, the doctor, and getting in touch with the mortuary at time of death. Unlike other hospice companies, this company did not even exert the effort to get in touch with the family, to the point that the facility just have to call the Sheriff to pick up the poor patient's body instead of a decent mortuary. If you really care about your loved ones and wish them to be comfortable on the last days of their life, choose a different hospice, NOT THIS! You don't want your loved ones to be neglected up to the time of their death. We're advocating on behalf of the patients who were neglected by this hospice company.
