I am grateful that the GL Home Health Care staff are professional, reliable and punctual. I had no idea that after care from my knee surgery can be done this way. Absolutely delightful. It’s like an LA Philharmonic at its best in home care! Well orchestrated and executed with precision. Everyone who are assigned to heal me is outstanding. Attention to details! Physical Therapist pushes you to do my routine, shower nurse to encourage me, nurses to take the vitals and check how you are doing paying attention to the things I don’t even think about. Then I found there is such thing as “Wound Care Specislist! What a difference it makes! They are in contact to outside professionals like SB wound care specialists and Mobile Doctors to provide me a comprehensive surgery patient after care. It is amazing to me that it is working so well like a well oiled machine. It takes special leadership to run the organizing like this. Thank you so very much for all your help! Without your professionalism and compassion you provide me, my recovery may be different than what I am experiencing.

Miller McMillan 1 review I was in rehab for two months with a traumatic brain injury that required immediate surgery and eight weeks in a wheelchair. In the post-acute facility and the one that followed, I went to the gym every day to work on strength and balance. I made rapid and steady progress and was approved to go home sooner than I expected. The therapists at rehab encouraged me to continue my recovery, as they knew it was not finished. I trusted that advice and was ready for home care. My first phone conversation with Alex told me he was courteous, professional and driven to help people receive the best in home health care. I told Alex that my head injury had affected my brain and balance. He understood my injury in detail and knew the types of therapies and therapists that might enhance my progress. The physical therapist Alex chose was frankly the best I could imagine. She continues to work with me weekly. I value her kind and supportive nature that never criticizes or uses pressure. That alone inspires me to work hard. At first she showed me exercises for strength and light balance. From that foundation, she shifted more toward balance. She let me feel comfortable with each exercise before introducing more challenging ones. Many exercises she shows me today are in sync with what I learned and practiced at the rehab facility. So, the training was progressive and still is. Alex helped out again with a home care nurse who has a calming presence and does more than taking my blood pressure. She always asks me how I am doing in my life, and listens intently. I find her well versed in many realms of healing and healthy living. She provides insightful observations and suggestions about what I bring to the surface. Not overbearing at all, she is simply perceptive and intuitive. I am so glad she offers practical wisdom with such ease and care. I look forward to her weekly visits without exception. Alex is fast and accurate with recommending great therapists. He is also easy for me to reach. In fact I have called him several times with questions or feedback on therapy. I didn’t even look further after I first talked to Alex. I would recommend him and GL Home Healthcare to anyone who needs the best.

Three years ago, my husband was being discharged from a rehab facility after hip surgery, and the social worked advised that I stop in the office and discuss his care after he was sent home. There I met Alex, the owner of GL Home Health Care, one of the luckiest days of my life. I was presented with a myriad of assistance possibilities, including physical therapies, various equipment needs, bathing options, wound care, on and on, and a weekly visit from a nurse to keep track of meds and blood pressure. As far as I remember, I was never presented with a bill for anything, as Medicare covered our needs. Alex can be reached 24/7, helpers arrive on time, are efficient and cheerful, and being taken care of by Alex's home health service was more than I could have expected in every aspect. Judy Novak
