Staff is amazing and worked diligently to provide care for my dad with short notice. The caregivers were so kind and understanding. My dad is confused sometimes so it takes patience. I don’t live near my dad but the caregivers kept me in the loop by phone. I always felt confident that he was getting the care he needed. I highly recommend Accredited and thank them for their service.

I have used Accredited Home Care for 8 years for my mom and dad. Dad passed about 6 years ago and we kept Accredited on for my aging mom. We recently had an emergency need for a caregiver for my bed-ridden half-conscious mother. I called Sarah at 8:30AM and she had mom covered for the remainder of the days and nights going forward. This is not the first time I have had to make an urgent call. They have never let me down in 8 years. Is everyone perfect showing up? Of course not, but in short order it all gets worked out. Last July we tried a different service because mom wanted to follow a specific caregiver. That lasted one month and we went running back to Accredited. Because of Accredited, I can sleep better at night.

As the reviews posted praise the home nursing program are favorable, the same does not apply to the physical therapy staff and service that was assigned to my mother. Recently my 88 year old mother was assigned to Accredited through her medical facility. The first PT was not motivating or encouraging to help my mom accomplish her exercises. As i understand elderly patients can be a challenge, I believe therapists should have the tools to try and encourage and be creative to help the client engage. It is a challenge but these individuals should have proper tools to assist the client. The PT was also rude to the care givers who are assisting my mom as well as not communicating with family to schedule the visits. Numerous times the PT was instructed to make all appointment visits with the family member. A second PT was requested to replace the PT originally assigned in hopes to find someone that would be a better fit. There were visits where the second PT asked the caregiver if they had light weights for the therapy visit because they arrived not prepared with PT strength training equipment. After several attempts to communicate all the concerns I had during visits, (PT and management) I just wanted to end the unpleasant, unacceptable service by the therapists by Accredited. A new agency was assigned and immediately the communication and willingness to help my mom improved 100%. My experience as well as my mothers was a waste of time and costs.

I highly recommend Accredited Home Care for in home assistance. All of their Care givers are kind, compassionate, helpful, knowledgeable and honest. They come to work with one goal in mind to give the best assistance to their patient. They make sure the patient is comfortable and well taken care of. They become like an extension of the family. This was the best choice we made to help care for our mother and her recovery from surgery.
