No matter what happens or what changes occur, they are there to support us. Joyce and her team are always readily available and ready to help in any way that they can. We are new to having caregivers and are thankful to have found First Light. We interviewed with Jacquelyn before our dad was discharged from rehab after a fall and was thankful for her assessment of what was needed to care for our elderly father at our home who now requires constant supervision. The first weeks we had different caregivers come so that we can assess which caregivers were a good fit for us. Now, it’s been 5 months since we began with First Light, and we love every one of our caregivers who have been with us since the beginning. They are sensitive to dad’s needs, as well as ours. Special shout out to our caregivers Oscar, Cathy and Wendy who are like family to us. We truly do not know what we’d do without them. Joyce, the coordinator of our caregivers, is always responsive, to address issues that come up, or when we need to make changes to the schedule. We are thankful for the flexibility to do so. I have recommended First Light Home Care to friends who have asked about our experience. We feel very blessed to be working with First Light Home care who are not just taking care of dad, but also our family.

FirstLight Home Care has served our mother's caregiver needs to perfection. We have an 85-year-old mom who has been recuperating from a brain and back injury due to a late night fall. She has recovered quickly from a lifetime of good health, but we needed a set of caregivers to be around during this rehab phase. What I appreciated right away about FirstLight is their immediate availability, reliable communication and flexibility to our specific schedule which is always changing. Our scheduler, Joyce, has been an efficient and quick communicator; she has accommodated us for every request, and always gets it correct, even and especially with our numerous last minute changes. Our mother loves and is quite fond of the caregivers. They are prompt, reliable, warm and ready to help with whatever she needs, including taking her out for walks in the neighborhood and even going along to supervise as she does some very limited driving of her car. What I think she appreciates most is their respect for her often-needed downtime while they're in her home, she is able to get a lot of rest. My mom has grown quite comfortable with both Tina and Lorena in the home. I am very grateful for FirstLight's absolute contribution to mom's assured road to recovery.

FirstLight Home Care has been a savior for me as I needed part-time caregiving for my elderly mother. Joyce was fantastic at getting my mom set-up for care and pleasant and professional to speak with. She always keeps me informed in case there needs to be a substitute for Veronica who we just love. Joyce has been a blessing to us, she’s very accommodating and goes out of her way to make sure we’re happy. Their caregivers are always on time and super helpful from assisting with her personal care to light cleaning. I would recommend FirstLight, I’m very happy and so is mom.

The care coordinator Joyce has been fabulous in making sure my Dad has the right caregiver coverage each day. When there are questions she is very quick to respond and helpful. 2 of the caregivers have been truly outstanding- Marian made Dad feel comfortable from Day 1! She had him engaged enjoying the activities she developed for him incorporating the exercises he needed to do each day. Bin is truly empathetic of Dad teaching me to better understand the rhythms of Seniors & their needs. Thank you FirstLight Home Care for being there for us each day! SK
