I’m not sure how I can write an adequate review describing strangers that came into my life while I was going through my most heartbreaking of days. From our first meeting to our last goodbyes they walked beside me guiding me through an experience I knew nothing about. They are available 24 hours a day (and believe me I called them at all hours when I had questions or needed their help!). In just a few short weeks they became like an extended family. Because of In Good Hands Hospice I was able to keep my husband home until he passed. It is a memory my kids and I will carry with us forever. The nurse kept him comfortable and I was able to lay next to him holding him close while our kids held his hands as he peacefully slipped away. Thanks In Good Hands Hospice for walking this path with us. We can never thank you enough!

When a loved one has a terminal illness and/or near the end of life, all you wish for is that they die comfortably with dignity at home surrounded by their loved ones. Hospice should help facilitate this transition but few meet that wish, focusing mostly on money and the end result instead of the present moment. In Good Hands Hospice is the exception to this notion. They are a team of compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and supportive individuals. They don’t use scare tactics to push you away from your doctors or appropriate pain medication. Their care is on the patient still alive, not to cure but to treat the symptoms until their last breath. They respond to concerns and questions following doctor’s orders and the needs of the family who realistically must tend to their loved one. With their support, my father died peacefully at home with a smile on his face.
