Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for this organization. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. The medical system truly failed her. Once the ER told me that she’d be more comfortable at home and she was turned away from her first chemo appointment and told to reschedule…I didn’t know what else to do. A friend of my mom’s connected me with VNA Care. And boy did they respond quickly, the nurse arrived within hours after my call, before any of my mom’s doctors got back to me. Every single person I spoke with was incredibly knowledgeable. The 24 hr hotline was a godsend. The communication was incredible throughout the whole team from someone who bathed her to the chaplain to the social worker to all the nurses. They made this extremely overwhelming time feel like a smooth running ship-always available for questions of all kinds. My mom was on hospice for only 1 week until she passed and she got better care during that time than the last year from her other doctors, including the ER. I would have drowned without them. From the outstanding nurses Dawn, Sabrina, & Anna (I believe was another nurse), to the incredible social worker Monique and the wonderful woman Patience who helped bath my mom and the sweetest & kindest chaplain Troy-you all are a true blessing and it warms my heart to know people like you exist in this world. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you.

If I could leave 0 stars that would be my rating. This company was suggested by a board and care owner, and after having to remove my loved one from that board and care for service failures, I can understand how they thought this was a good company. They absolutely are not. I have had to beg this company for updates about my loved one, beg for follow up, beg for services, beg for communication, beg for CARE. I have had to manage my loved one case/care. They accepted my loved one on their service with very typical elderly medical issues, nothing outrageous and once they were tired of managing it and once we demanded a decent level of service from them, they notified us of their plan to discharge services. I had to beg the doctor to treat a UTI, literally BEG. My loved one was nearly septic before the on-call doctor finally agreed to do something because the following physician wouldn't. They are unethical, unconcerned and I should done more research. Thankfully moving on from them and their lack of care, urgency and decency. Without a doubt, I do not recommend their services to anyone.

VNA Cares Hospice is as advertised- they provided excellent communication, and services as my Mother was passing. I would highly recommend their care for yourself or your loved ones. They were all very patient, knowledgeable, and most of all caring

We decided to use VNA Hospice care for my mother and we so glad we did. Staff at VNA has been very helpful and we can't thank them enough. Specially Susan my mom's case nurse is super human being. She truly cares and takes the time to explain things and has been very responsive to our need, concerns and questions. We have never dealt with hospice care, when my mon was out in hospice we called multiple companies and felt they were all trying to sell us something, but when we met with Susan for our intial consultation she won special place in our hearts. We appreciate all they have done so far and are hoping for he best. Abdur R

My Wife, of 57 years was diagnosed with Alzheimer's over five years ago. As time went on, She became bedridden. Unfortunately our local medical clinics as well as Medicare extended plans are not able to provide proper help for a home caregiver such as myself. As the disease not only took a toll on my Wife but also on our Fam Alzheimer’s is a terrible disease! ily, After much research my Daughter found a nonprofit organization called VNA Hospice & Palliative Care. She made a call that was immediately answered. That call was a godsend! Within hours a nurse was at my house, visiting with us and seeing my wife's condition, she assured us they would take over. Within hours, medications were delivered, along with another nurse explaining the medication and teaching us how to administer them. The offer for a full time caregiver who could arrive at 11 pm that night. However I preferred to stay with my wife. The following day a delivery truck arrived with a specially designed hospital bed and oxygen equipment. Next, a Social Worker arrived, who was a true Angel, answering all my questions with extreme compassion! Next we were assigned a personal Nurse, who visited every day directing, twice a week bathing and changing bed sheets and clothing. All This and more from a single phone call. Upon my Wife's passing, I made the call to the 24 hour phone number I was given. Within one hour their Nurse was at my house. She prepared my wife for pickup by the mortuary, which the Social Worker had prearranged. To all the wonderful people at the VNA. Thank You With Love! The Raum Family
