I am a licensed private Home Care Aide. One of my client's health has declined over the last month and his doctor ordered ACE Home Health Care to evaluate and treat him at home. I have worked with many Home Health/Hospice agencies over the last 18+ years and this is the worst I have ever encountered. I have called their office numerous times in the last 4 days to discuss care and have never received a call-back. They claim to have a nurse on-call 24/7. I called at 5:30p yesterday requesting advice from a nurse. I was advised the office was closed and would have to call back the next day. When I told the answering service that they were supposed to have a nurse on-call 24/7, she took my name and number and said someone would call me back right away. No one ever called back. This is unacceptable. DO NOT use this agency. Our loved ones deserve better. UPDATE: 3 days later, 3 calls, voice-mails and a text and still no return call. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I recommended another home health agency to my client and they are changing.

We have used Ace in the past with Kaiser, now with Contra Costa Health plan. They owe speech therapy and CNA visits to Danny, but have failed to send anyone out. (Occ Health therapist Audra is amazing. Physical Therapist, Len was good too, but was on vacation then left the company. Not many visits.) The rest of the Ace Home Health staff is dishonest. The “nurses” are garbage, brand new inexperienced. They showed up to pretended to do vital signs. What fraud, waste and abuse of the system. There was no need for them to come in the first place. I suspect Ace Home Health charging for visits that never happened. Will call public health nurse Maureen and verify, if guilty I will report their fraud. Danny deserves good care, they need to provide it!

A close friend living with me received care from Ace Home Health. She had waited over 2 weeks for a call back from another agency that her doctor had recommended. When she reached out to Ace within a few hours her insurance was verified and an appointment was made with a therapist who came out to evaluate her within 24 hours. All of the staff were respectful, timely and compassionate. We would highly recommend this agency to friends and family.
