Meeting with Dan McGuire at Right at Home ~ Rancho Cucamonga, is always a boost of energy in exchanging new ideas and programs to help our senior community. Our recent meeting was no exception, and I loved hearing Dan excited to talk about how their home care is thriving with their excellent caregivers and team work, how they’re a part of the Medicare GUIDE Program, and their newest RightAssist technology is enhancing care for their clients. We discussed how early detection using genetic testing can help families prepare for care, and exchanged ideas on how we can continue collaborating to help more seniors and their families. What can I say about Right At Home?! They saved my sanity. lol After 18 months of my mother being in a care facility, she finally came home. While our family was very excited, we were also very afraid for her. She is unable to take care of most daily activities for herself but still wants to feel “independent”. I am the closest family member and I live 100 miles away. We met and consulted with Dan McGuire at RAH and he explained how they could help and put our minds at ease. Caregivers (or friends that help her with a few things, like she likes to say) are now in place to help Mom with her daily activities. They are so kind and attentive. I do visit often, but I am beyond happy to know that she is taken care of so that I don’t need to be her actual caregiver, but rather just be her daughter :) I am beyond thankful for the entire team at Right At Home. It takes a village.
