I found this home health company not only a concern but a disgrace to all home health companies. Their nurses are incompetent and unprofessional. They have no respect for you as a patient or your home, they will just show up whenever they please. Their on call nurse for the phone line is extremely rude and passive. They will show up several hours late after giving you a 3-4 hour estimate of when they'll show up....well that's if you're lucky enough that they'll even show up for your scheduled day. Also if you do infusions please be careful, they will run your line on open to finish in 45 minutes when my doctor ordered it to be administered over 2 hours. One nurse that came to my house didn't know how to properly start an IV and talked down to me the entire time. They never read my case file, as each nurse would look at me and turn their head questioning if I was the patient....then saying "oh wow, you're so young" when my case file obviously states my age. They would send a nurse to come over after they had just worked a 12 hour shift somewhere else. This nurse had asked to come in the morning after he got off from his second job. They only want to come when convenient whether that be to make some money driving on the way home throwing a shirt over their other work shirt with an ID badge on after their 12 hour shift or tell me they'll only be able to have me on their schedule if agree for them to come those 2 days after their other job.

If your going through a treatment process that requires admitting and discharge and not just a one time thing from these folks, stay away. My husband had them for picc line care and all was well until he got admitted to the hospital and discharged needing care again. Insurance approved it and Vanura chose to deny him for no reason other than they didn't want to take him back. Called on the phone to try and get to the bottom of it and office staff was beyond rude, unhelpful and you can talk to 2 different people and they say different things without communicating to each other. The 2 nurses we had were nice but if you have to deal with their office staff stay clear, bad attitudes and no help when you need it. Would give no stars but the nurses were nice like I said so that's what got them 2.

My LVN was wonderful. She was very caring and listened intently to any questions I asked. She gave me straight and honest answers. Vanura' s representative called me to follow up on my progress right away. I would definitely recommend Vanura to anyone. Thank you again for your services.
