The nurses are a 5 or better. The one star is for the fact that if your loved one needs PT or OT and lives out of the Riverside area, Advantage contracts with a substandard facility by the name of Lifespan. Advantage does not have staff on call (which they should since they are home health/hospice), and if you call after 3 p.m., especially on a Friday, you will probably not get a call back. My last effort was to reach the director of nursing who never returned any of the 5 call I submitted on Friday and Saturday. If you need a good home health agency, look elsewhere.

During an extremely difficult time, our family needed help with DME and was struggling to get support. We felt like my aunt’s doctor was not doing much to assist us, and after multiple attempts to get answers, I was overwhelmed and upset because it felt like no one was helping. I called my home health agency, and Jasmine answered. She listened without rushing me, showed genuine understanding, and immediately stepped in to help. Even though I was frustrated, she remained calm, respectful, and focused on finding solutions. She knew exactly what to do and took the lead in getting things arranged. What stood out most was her follow-up. She called back to confirm the DME company had been contacted and that everything was in place, and she made sure we knew she was available if we needed anything further. That level of care and attention made a meaningful difference during a very hard moment. The compassion and professionalism shown reflected the way this company cared for my aunt throughout her time with them. I am truly thankful for the support we received and would not hesitate to recommend this home health agency to others.

Advantage Home Health and Hospice is a wonderful company with team members who genuinely care about their patients and the Riverside community at large. They are compassionate and attentive, making sure that their patients get everything they need. Ted and Evelyn do a great job communicating and meeting with families around the clock, bringing peace to a sometimes chaotic and confusing time in a patient's life.
