Stay away from Sutter Care at Home for Home Health. I had a terrible experience with a family member. (1) They did not come to the home within 48 hrs after hospital discharge as promised. (2) it's a pain phoning them. I recommend you give them a call and you'll understand my frustration (3) nurse and physical therapist calls you around 7am to let you know they will be coming over later in the day. I'm lucky if they call me the evening before. There is no advanced notice or appt scheduling (4) The nurse did not take out the incorrect pills from the pill box. Nurse only checks blood pressure and nothing else. Since the nurse wasn't attentive, my family member ended up back in the hospital again. The nurse and physical therapist who came over speaks English or Tagalog. My family member speaks neither and is hard of hearing, so it was not very effective when they used a phone interpreter. Not all "Sutter Care at Home" Home Health agencies are the same. I would recommend the San Mateo branch. Higher quality of care and appointments are scheduled at your own convenience one week in advance. Too bad this San Francisco branch doesn't hold the same values.

The Sutter hospice service very bad .all people ,social worker doing not the right job.call them just left message.then never respond,or call back. I don't believe it just talk nice when fisrt day.nurse come just sign a bill then go.pls don't trutted them
