My uncle was recently discharged from the hospital after surgery and was referred to Green Pine Home Health for wound care and antibiotic injections. So far, I’m very happy with their service. The nurse took time during each visit, provided thorough wound care, and never rushed. My uncle’s follow-up with his surgeon showed the wound had healed well, with no signs of infection after just 5 days of treatment. Thank you, Green Pine Home Health, for your attentive and professional care!

I am blessed to have Green Pine Home Health take care of my grandmom. My grandmom had pneumonia and was only allowed to stay in the hospital for 3 days. She barely felt better but needed to be discharged home due to payment issues (I'm not sure what's going on with our current healthcare system). Once my grandmom was discharged from the hospital, the home health agency contacted us the next morning to arrange a nurse visit and antibiotic infusion. Julie, who speaks Chinese, came to check on my grandmom and assess her medical needs. It's so important to have a nurse who can communicate with the patient. However, the medicine was delivered late—almost in the late afternoon. The agency sent a nurse in the evening for the antibiotic infusion. A couple of days later, my grandmom had a mild cough, and we realized our breathing treatment machine wasn't working. The agency was kind enough to lend us one until we got a new one from the equipment company. My overall experience: very nice nurses, even though we didn't have Julie daily. The office staff responded to our concerns in a timely manner.

My dad got nursing services from this agency last year for weekly injections. We worked with a few different nurses. I’m personally thankful for the services and can’t complain to people who are willing to work outside home, deal with road traffic and extreme weather. With the shortage of nurses, very grateful and appreciate their home visits to teach my brother and me how to do injection for my dad weekly. The office reached out to us on regular basis to follow up. The nurses always called or texted us the night before to confirm visits. The waiting time frame of visit is 2-3 hours which is better than 4-8 hours when I waited for home land line and gas line replacement. One thing my brother and I learned is home health nurse visit is to assist and teach us how to take care of my dad, they are not self pay private duty nurses. Make sense, just like Home Depot is DIY. We learn from them and DIY the care for our loved one.

My mom suffered from a leg wound for several months and began receiving wound care services from Green Pine in November of last year. Our experience with the nurses was excellent. Although we were initially a bit confused and frustrated with the process of obtaining dressing supplies (not the nursing care), the nurses were fantastic. They were professional, knowledgeable, and experienced in wound care. They took the time to teach and explain to my sister and me how to monitor the wound’s progress. We also learned how to participate and support my mom in her recovery. Additionally, they educated us on the types of nutrition that can promote better wound healing. One issue we encountered was with the wound care supplies. We initially thought the nurses would bring the supplies during their visits, but we learned that the home health nurses are part of the agency, while the dressing supplies come from a durable medical equipment (DME) company contracted through my mom’s insurance. The process of obtaining supplies was challenging—it required a prescription to be submitted for insurance authorization. It took about a week for the doctor to sign the order and another week for the DME company to deliver the supplies. The delay created a lot of stress, but the care team generously provided some supplies while we waited for the delivery. Overall, we are grateful for the exceptional care provided by the Green Pine nursing team. They made a significant difference in my mom’s recovery, despite the supply challenges.
