The VA contracted them to provide care for my elderly father. Once they finally provided a caregiver, she was not very ambitious and basically just watched TV/movies with my dad. That is NOT what we need assistance with. I basically had to tell/teach her what to do when it is all in the care plan. After a week of working she called out sick for a week. Maxim did not provide assistance in her absence. I no longer wanted that caregiver as she was unreliable and had no initiative. After several months of phone calls, extremely bad communication and empty promises I reached out to the VA to have a different company provide assistance. The VA delivered quickly on my request. I now have a company that provides consistent quality care and has great communication. I definitely would NOT recommend this company!
