Torrance Memorial Home Health is hands down the best home health agency I have encountered. I have experienced several agencies both as a patient and as a companion to others who needed care. Torrance Memorial Home Health was great from the first point of contact. Sue answered the phone and could not have been more helpful. She was very knowledgeable and professional. It was a delight to speak with her and she helped make the process of switching to them seamless. Analiza, the clinical manager was extremely diligent with her follow through and always got back to me and checked on things to help facilitate getting orders or labs for doctors and making the hiccups with providers work seamlessly. She is a great listener and a great problem solver. Her no-nonsense style can belie her truly compassionate personality. It is clear she has a passion for helping people. The caregiver team is outstanding. I have never encountered a more professional crew in all the years I have had as a medical professional myself. As a patient it was a Godsend. Laura the R.N. is a diligent and and compassionate top notch professional who really knows her stuff. Her venipuncture skills are amazing! When I say I am an impossible stick.... times a 100! She never missed! She makes my top 10 list! You tough sticks know what list I'm talking about! ;-) I had the best team ever! Cory, a kind and compassionate man, as my physical therapist kept me on track diligently pushing me just enough to make measurable improvements and get me out of a bed-ridden state. He patiently brought me a long way. Erin, a no-nonsense compassionate woman, as my physical therapist pushed me to the next level with her observations and prudent corrections. “Feel those glutes burn” echoes in my head to this day. And burn they do, every day to stronger and stronger. She got me to go up and down steps with just a cane and picking myself up from the floor for the first time in over a year! And last but not least, Alex my incredible OT who just knows what I need. She really gets it. She understands my unique condition in ways that very few do. She helped me achieve things I could not achieve which seem so simple but with just the right touch and advice she made happen. She is a gem! Any other staff that filled in whenever my regular team was not available was quite professional and competent. There was not one bad apple in the bunch. That is saying a lot! I have been coping with a significant medical journey for 20 years now and I have experienced a lot. I will speak up to advocate for myself when things are not right but I am also the first to sing the praises of those who deserve the praise. I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years despite my medical challenges and I have a unique perspective to say the least. If you have the opportunity to have Torrance Memorial Home Health for your home health needs do not hesitate to take hold of the opportunity to have them care for you and your loved ones! They are so refreshing to have as an option out there these days in the realm of home health care.

My mother has been on service for many years. All the nurses are extremely professional, caring, and definitely knowledgeable. My mother also received physical therapy if she is walking today is due to the exceptional effort of Cory, which is one of the physical therapist that my mother has had for many years as well as the rest of the PT staff. Thank you.
