My twin sister just had major brain surgery, and Mary’s Homecare was supposed to be here twice a week. In five weeks, they’ve shown up three pathetic times. Three. Every time I call, I get the same lazy excuse: “We’re still trying to find someone who services Rio Vista.” Then why are you taking clients here? Why are you offering services you clearly cannot provide? This is someone recovering from brain surgery—not a scheduling inconvenience. This agency has been a complete failure from start to finish—unreliable, unprofessional, and absolutely nowhere when my sister needed the care they promised. If you care at all about your family, stay far away from this agency. They are hands down the most useless, irresponsible, and unacceptable homecare service we’ve ever encountered. P.S. I could not make this post without giving them one star, they don't deserve even that!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!

My father came home from the hospital with a wound down his entire forearm. The bandage was suppose to be changed every 3 days. We had to constantly call the office and ask where the nurse was. No one showed up every 3 days. It would be more like 5 days. Everytime I called the office they said they don't schedule the appointments. Each person was an independent contractor. They said all they could do was text them. After 2 weeks, they discharged him without any notification. He still had a bandage along his arm for 8 DAYS before we found they weren't coming anymore. I will never recommend them. They put patients life at risk.

I wish I could say our experience with Mary's Help was a good thing, but it really wasn't. The first nurse from them came to change the dressing on a midline catheter and managed to pull it out, requiring us to go to the ER to have it replaced. They came a few days later to draw blood and were incredibly haphazard, rushed, and didn't sanitize properly, on top of being late and non communicative. That blood draw either failed or didn't get sent to the lab, so we contacted Mary's Health and they did reassign a new nurse who came to draw blood two days later. Her technique was much better and more professional, however the results from that blood draw were sent to the wrong lab/PCP office, and now the care we need is being delayed past the weekend due to the mixup. The latter mistake is frustrating and potentially costly, but the behavior of the first nurse is absolutely unacceptable and dangerous. Communication was also difficult in general Please avoid this service if you are able.
