Had an awful experience. I was referred for respite/caregiver services through my insurance. The first caregiver they sent kept looking at me and bursting into tears about how sick I was. Also, she was recuperating from open heart surgery and couldn't do her job. Then I requested someone new and after not hearing from libertana, 2 months went by, finally I spoke with someone. The new person they sent couldn't find my house and refused to come back. She claims she asked her bus driver for directions and he couldn't assist. She was about 1 mile from my house and expected the bus driver to drop her off at my door.

She is consistently go above and beyond to ensure that every task is completed to the highest standard, often exceeding expectations. Saira Younis is also an excellent person and always have a positive attitude and willingness to assist.

My name is Julie Allen. I am a resident of LaCoruna and under the care of the staff of Libertana Home Health. Following back surgery several years ago I was on Disability and under Home Health Care at my apartment. After failing many attempts at physical therapy I was not able to return to work and was forced to retire from my job. Disability was to be discontinued and I was faced with increasing rent in the apartment I had lived in for ten years. I heard about LaCoruna from a friend and applied for residency. I was accepted. I wasn't sure what it would be like, being in a wheelchair for the first time and not knowing anyone in the building. I had to adjust to a few new things. That adjustment was made much smoother by the caring staff on all shifts. Libertana staff has been outstanding throughout the pandemic. I appreciate their concern for each resident in their care. Each day with them is new and I really appreciate each caregiver and nurse that touches my life each day and makes life in this wheelchair not so bad.

If I could give this organization 100 stars I would! I had the pleasure of receiving help from Any P. From the start she gave me concrete answers on how to help place my mom into an assisted living. My mom at 70 years was recently separated from her marriage after 40 years. Left with nothing, she had no direction. Any was able to provide us resources into social security so she could qualify for waiver programs. She did nearly everything for us! She has given my mom new hope and made this transition easier than I could have imagined. Any answered late night texts from me and never made me feel as if reassurance was far away. If anyone else in this organization is like Any then I can say with certainty they have compassion, reliability and the empathy needed to help others.
