I want to provide a positive review of Salus Homecare and Elisa Gomez. They came to the rescue when I needed them most. My mom had been sick for many months and bouncing between the hospital and a skilled nursing facility. My mom wanted to go home. I received a positive referral and reached out to Salus and Elisa was immediately responsive. She met me and my mom in the hospital and immediately helped me put together a care plan for my mom. When the UCLA Dementia Clinic offered our family several choices in agencies for respite care for my mother (who has moderately advanced vascular dementia), I chose Salus and they did not disappoint! From the start, Elisa, the intake coordinator was professional and truly compassionate. Diana, the scheduler was always quick to respond with requests for scheduling and changes. When our first caregiver was inconsistent at showing up on time, she immediately replaced her with an 18 year veteran, Virginia (Jenny) who always showed up early. My mother liked her and her empathetic care helped our family with the respite we desperately needed. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs caregiving at the highest level.
