Called this branch to get more information and clarity on home health vs. hospice care and I spoke to Kami - she was a breath of fresh air and my family and I did not realize how she was able to connect with us so much in just a short call, she was so patient and kind and listened and answered all of my questions and it has been a scary time for us as we transition my mom into this new phase of her life. I cant thank Kami enough for not only listening to us but sharing her professionalism - Her passion for the community shows and we hope it serves you as much as you are serving them! Wishing you the best and Thank you once again for your time and patience with us

This group is supposed to provide in home nursing care while my husband receives antibiotics through a Picc line and a Curlin pump. The nurse they sent didn’t know how to use the pump or how to draw blood through the Picc line. I have called several times for help and they have done nothing. No blood labs have been done which is required to monitor the infection. Bridge is supposed to be good—not so far!

I am reviewing Bridge's Walnut Creek staff member, Miles. This meeting was the introduction from a doctor referral upon family request. I was the one to interview Miles prior to his home evaluation. I asked Miles questions regarding approach to covid-19 protocols, communications regarding covid-19, do they carry enough supplies - gloves, mask, shoe covers etc..., if caring for a client with covid-19 can families request different team member, hand washing with soap practice while at client's home ( since it's recommended in the food industry every 30 minutes or less) I think it should also apply to the health care industry, does the company perform testing on staff, and do you test temperature of self before seeing client (response was no). After questions I brought Miles in to meet with the client and family member. I watched closely how aware Miles is to details, his safety, safety hygiene for self and client and communication between all involved. Miles is very thorough in examining patient and documentation, explaining each task before performing it, checking in with the patient how he feels, continually changing gloves +, Sanitized and holding a great attitude during the evaluation. Oh and Miles is a good listener too. ***My only suggestion would be for any health care worker is washing your hands with soap and water upon arrival not solely relying on sanitizer alone, CDC says use Hand Sanitizer When You Can't Use Soap and Water- soap and water is best way to get rid of germs in most situations. Sanitizers however, do NOT get rid of all types of germs- cdc states on site. I am pleased with my observation of Miles who represents Walnut Creek Office. We are looking forward to working side by side in the days to come. I will update as time goes by. Awesome 1st impression, Miles.

This place is the worst in care for your dying loved one. Do not trust this company. They are only in it to bill the insurance company. They lied repeatedly to me about the care of my mother and having comfort care meds on hand for my dying mother. There were no meds. They weren't ordered. They do the blame game; they never take responsibility for what they didn't do. They are good at trying to cover everything up. My mother passed away and they called me 19 hours later to let me know and only after I called them to ask where is the nurse who confirmed the death? I had to call them. How sad is that? Use a different Hospice program. There are others out there. I wish I was given an option.. so I could've done my research. They promise you the moon.. and do nothing to comfort your loved one. They should be ashamed of themselves. I'd rate them at ZERO stars.
