While the initial setup and paperwork to get a therapist was delayed for several weeks, I have to give credit where it’s due and give incredible kudos to our speech provider, Chloe. Chloe is not only great with being flexible to last minute schedule changes and updates, but she has been a tremendous benefit to our toddler who hardly spoke before Chloe came. Our kiddo regressed in speech and was almost nonverbal but several months of working with Chloe have not only improved our toddlers speech to where she is speaking in full sentences, but I’ve learned how to help outside of our appointments and this holistic whole team approach has really proven to be effective. Plus, our toddler now considers Chloe her “best friend” which she verbalizes often but with complete adoration. We are so incredibly grateful for Chloe and the improvements she has made with and for our kiddo.

After years of being on the waitlist for woven care (shandy clinic), my children “aged out” of being able to receive ABA therapy. I felt helpless and with the increasing aggression I thought my kiddos would never get a chance or the help they deserved and needed. But then I remembered MGA. The process of starting with MGA was such a speedy process and gave our family hope for our 2 autistic children. They absolutely love going because they know they get to have a safe environment around highly skilled and trained adults, while also having the opportunity to play and “talk” with other children of all ages who are also on the spectrum. One day my son didn’t want to say goodbye to me, and I felt bad leaving and decided to stay and watch my children play in the back. (Autism parent guilt I guess, a VERY loose term, but if you know you know) They gladly welcomed me to the back. After just a few minutes I realized, they have everything under control and I don’t need to worry about my children “being too much”. Snacks are encouraged. And fun is mandatory. The facility was very clean. Very few toys could use updating. but it shows how much play they involve with every aspect. There are multiple rooms for learning/ sensory needs. Therapists are trained for speech devices which is amazing. A few years ago we used MGA for in home speech therapy. Life saver, and we saw AMAZING progress through our autistic daughter, Her therapist would even have different toys she brought each time. Since moving we live too far (in fountain) for certain in-home services. But once they are available we will use every resource they have to offer. But for now we are more than happy to make the trip. Thank you MGA for helping our family achieve goals we’ve never thought was possible.

MGA has been absolutely amazing in helping my son get the services and skills he needs to be functioning even with his autism. Level 2 diagnosis. We love all of Leo’s therapists through Aba, speech and occupational therapy. When we’ve had an issue with a therapist or things that were happening in sessions, communication was clear and as needed therapists were changed out. And they actually listen. Kelli is wonderful at coordinating and communicating. Joey is extremely helpful with scheduling conflicts.
