If I could go -5 that would be a better rating. I was recommended using them as I take care of my mom who has dementia and Alzheimer’s, worst mistake ever. They messed up paperwork for a few weeks so lost out at the beginning of almost a month of being paid which they took no acceptance of. My mom has Medicaid so thankfully the government helps financially with taking care of her even though it is not much. For some reason you have to go through an agency like Anova care who in turn takes 1/2 of your allotted money from the government for doing nothing. All they do is essentially some basic accounting and they are terrible and rude about their mistakes most of the time. They are extremely shady with their billing and anytime you call them to check on their shady practices they take 2-3 weeks to respond. I was allotted extra time by the social worker/government as the job never stops and they won’t pay any extra because they have a company policy not to pay overtime even though they are allowed to by the government. Worst mistake ever taking that recommendation to use them, highly recommend not to!!!!

I am so happy with this company. They have been so helpful in meeting my needs and cares. My caregiver Adriana is the sweetest and most helpful caregiver I have ever had. She is so gentle and well minded. She pays good attention to detail and I don't have to tell her what to do. I very highly recommend this company to anyone who is in need of a caregiver . They are the best!

I had a very positive initial call experience with Amber Personal Care when I was exploring options for non-medical home care. Although circumstances led me to choose a different route for my loved one's care, I want to commend Amber Personal Care for their outstanding customer service during that first contact. During the initial call, the representative I spoke with (Ashley Olds) was incredibly informative and attentive. They patiently addressed all my questions and concerns, providing detailed information about the services they offer and their approach to care. The professionalism and warmth of the conversation left a lasting impression on me. While I ultimately chose a different care option that was better suited to my loved one's needs, I have no doubt that Amber Personal Care is a reputable agency that genuinely cares about the well-being of their clients. For anyone considering non-medical home care services, I would wholeheartedly recommend giving Amber Personal Care a call. Even though I didn't move forward with their services, I believe their dedication to providing compassionate care is worth exploring.
