actually babey
this company sucks. my friend NEEDS care multiple times a day. no choice, nobody else that can help as consistently as they need it. if maxim can't supply someone on time, they are screwed and things just don't get done. medications, nutrition, hygiene, etc etc etc. it just doesn't get done because they are disabled and CAN'T DO IT. maxim drops the ball on this time and time again. all the time, morning nursing care for medication management is late. the medications need to be taken ON TIME in the morning and they cannot get done without nursing support. consistently, they get taken past 11am or even past noon. THIS IS NOT OKAY and can be extremely dangerous for some medications. frequently, the nurses that do come leave a mess, don't complete all their tasks, etc. scheduled nurses rarely (if ever) get replaced if they call out sick, and half the time the patients are not told that their nurse won't be coming. in that case, if nobody at home can help last-minute, the tasks WON'T GET DONE AT ALL. and some of the staff (not just nursing) is completely incompetent at their jobs. for the most part, the staff are nice people, and i have no doubt that they are not screwing their clients over for no reason. the office is disorganized, the staff are overworked and underpaid, and it shows in the quality of care and communication received by the clients. MANY disabled people are in the position of having no support from family and friends to provide care. this is not an isolated issue, and even for those who do have family and friends who are able to help, some of the care provided by this company cannot be done without training, cannot be done last minute, cannot be done correctly or completely non-professionally, etc etc etc. disabled people deserve to have their needs met in a complete and easy-to-navigate way that preserves their dignity and quality of life. with that being said, dignity and quality life of the disabled people this company serves is clearly not prioritized at this company. if you can, i'd advise you look elsewhere for yourself or your loved one. having no choice but to deal with this company to get basic needs met is not something i would wish on my worst enemy.

care for my mother was a disaster didn't keep anything on file for power of attorney, nurses were unprofessional, office would talk over you and not give any help or info, I would highly recommend to stay away from this company, they wouldn't do their job when being onsite very dissatisfied had higher hope for a company that is supposed to be helping people

The team I work with is incredible. They are totally dedicated and have the patients best interest in mind. Management is great, they understand the patient side and the employee side to make it flow.
A Bunker
Workers are lazy and often show up late past scheduled time they are suppose to work often 15-30 minutes. They leave areas unkept and untidy. I thought that’s what this service oriented company was supposed to be here to help elderly and handicapped folks. Instead they rush through things. Several times they tracked in mud on the floor as well. Shop around first before choosing a healthcare company.

We contacted maxim to care for a family member. They missed on average one visit a day for the first month, and never provided consistent care throughout the 4 months we were with them. Their nurse contaminated a bed bath basin with feces (intentionally) and trained other staff to do the same and after rinsing the basin used it to give bed baths. Their nurse also over-inflated the clients catheter balloon to 140% of maximum volume causing bleeding and sever discomfort. They were extremely unprofessional and completely unreliable.
